Pretty Girl - “Get back to me”

Pretty Girl has just released her new EP in time for her residency at Phonox this June/July and we’re just starting to get to know more about her. She’s emphasized her direction with this new EP and admitted to perhaps not making music true to her heart previously. “Get Back to Me”, quite aptly named certainly doesn’t feel like this. It’s relaxed, it’s confident and secure. Each song feels like a perfect combination between body moving dance pop and introspective electronic themes that flood with identity. Standout tracks for me were “Higher”, “Inside” and "My Trust, My Love”. The latter in particular hums with a catchy synth and an addictive cadence that gives the track emotional depth whilst maintaining electronic pulse.

We’ll certainly be catching her during her residency at Phonox, London. And can’t wait to see where she goes from here!
